Doing college from home positively impacted my life in ways that going away to a university for four years couldn't have done. I was able to learn in the best and most efficient way that's particular to who I am and my learning style. I was able to give 100% and excel in less time than I would have been able to in the average college semester. I learned so many life skills that are usually postponed until after returning home from college. For example, instead of being in a university and prolonging "real life" in a sense, I was at home learning from my college classes while also learning from life. I learned about finances, how insurance works, communication skills with bosses and coworkers, gained experience in fields I was potentially interested in, and I was even able to start my own businesses, all in the "real world" environment. The possibilities of ways to learn, and grow, while doing college from home are endless. It literally jump starts anyone coming right out of highschool (or possibly still in highschool) right into young adult hood in the most beautiful way. So in conclusion, I would not be where I am today if I hadn't done college from home and I highly recommend the journey.
